Under general supervision of a team lead or manager, the Application Analyst will focus on application support and service delivery solutions to achieve optimal patient safety, financial, and workflow efficiencies.

This role is responsible for vendor engagement, support of hospital-based applications, solutions, and processes, and assistance with integration to enterprise solutions. Support will include planning, testing, troubleshooting, and solutioning as needed. This person will also participate in system-wide projects and reported issues, as well as create and foster strong working relationships among teammates.

The Application Analyst will support and maintain assigned information systems, functions, and/or resources for Radiology, Cardiology, Neurology, and GI Applications. Major responsibilities include installations, conversions, upgrades, and resolving customer concerns during installation, operation, maintenance, or production.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Support the use of software applications, data feeds, and peripherals utilized across the Enterprise
  2. Perform system maintenance and provide software application support to maintain uptime
  3. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues within software applications
  4. Develop and maintain troubleshooting and how-to documents to enable team members and share responsibilities
  5. Define and document technical, operational, and support processes
  6. Provide support to higher-level managers or serve as a team member on complex projects
  7. Monitor applications for performance issues and communicate to stakeholders
  8. Provide front-line, second-level support as part of the IT Operations team
  9. Support critical service management processes: Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Application Enhancements
  10. Communicate technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing
  11. Participate in an On-Call rotation
  12. Work after-hours/weekends as needed to support organizational needs
  13. Assist in achieving departmental goals and objectives
  14. Facilitate user group sessions to identify and resolve problems
  15. Coordinate with vendors and support services for system installation, implementation, and support
  16. Serve as a liaison between clinicians, departments, and vendors to align clinical and IT standards
  17. Other duties as assigned
  18. Coordinate local and enterprise resources as required
  19. Attend onsite Leadership Huddles

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a changing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of company products, procedures, and applications
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, vendor teams, and internal partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Healthcare or related field experience preferred
Working Conditions
  • Sedentary office environment
  • Frequent mental/visual effort and PC operation

Local travel within the market; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted on the finalist.
