Job summary

Oxco, Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking an Application Analyst to support Business Central and related BI reporting. You will work with users across departments, building and modifying reports, and ensuring data is accurate and accessible.

Qualifications

• Experience using Dynamics 365 Business Central and SQL for manufacturing, warehousing, and GL/AP.

• 3–4 years in SQL Server and SSRS, plus 3–4 years in Project Management.

• Identify and document processes to improve efficiencies in Oxco’s processes.
• Provide general technical support on Business Central-related systems to all departments.
• Provide general technical support on other business applications to all departments.
• Manage support tickets with third party providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Develop, document, and provide training on efficient systems and modifications to integrate workers, machines, materials, and data.
• Work with users at all levels to define and develop reports in Business Central, SSRS, Excel, or Power BI.
• Define requirements for new IT projects, including inputs and outputs, data security, and testing.
• Raise issues to VP of Administration & IT or President.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Role

The Application Analyst will be a key member of a small IT team, supporting all aspects of Oxco operations and working with users at levels of the company. The daily schedule will vary based on current needs and projects. We are looking for someone with a good base knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SQL queries, strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, and a desire to seek solutions and learn new things. A key responsibility of the Application Analyst is to support users in all functions of Business Central, from sales and purchasing to production, shipping and receiving, along with all applications that interact with that system. This person will also be responsible for supporting and modifying existing reports, in SSRS, Excel, and Business Central, and developing new reports in the appropriate tool for the user and application. Finally, the Application Analyst will document related business processes and develop training on systems and system modifications.

• Work directly with users at all levels of the organization to define and develop reports in Business Central, SSRS, Excel, or Power BI to promote efficiency, improve abilities of the team to respond to various trends, and provide better access to data available.
• Define requirements for new IT projects, including inputs and outputs required, data security, and testing.
• Raise any issues or concerns that arise during day-to-day work to the Vice President of Administration & IT or President.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how various systems interact and how changes in operations, the environment and other conditions will affect outcomes.
• 3-4 years’ experience in utilizing Business Central and related add-ons for Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Inventory, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• 3-4 years’ experience in SQL Server, include SQL Server Reporting Services.
• 3-4 years’ experience in Project Management.
