Intermountain Health is seeking an IT Applications Support Specialist to plan, design, implement, maintain, and optimize health IT systems (EHR, scheduling, billing, PACS, HIM, interoperability). The position is fully remote with some onsite presence for meetings and training.
Preferred Epic certifications (EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, ROI, Identity) and experience in stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and reporting requirements.
Job Description: This position is responsible for standard level work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support. (e.g., electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing and collections, lab and pathology, radiology, picture archiving and communications (PACS), cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long term care, population health, consumer and patient facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, customer relationship management), Health Information Management , Release of Information, Health Information Exchange, Identity, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, Interoperability. Bachelor's degree is preferred in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval.
Two (2) years of work experience, or actively working towards a bachelor's degree with 4 years' experience working within a related area.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $32.42 - $51.08
