Job summary

Engine is seeking an Application Administrator to own core business systems that keep Finance and Accounting running smoothly. You will administer NetSuite, UKG, Adaptive Insights, Numeric, Zip and Tray.io, and collaborate with Finance to translate business needs into configurations and process improvements.

You’ll manage access governance, triage tickets, and maintain documentation to preserve institutional knowledge while helping keep systems secure and reliable.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on ERP administration experience.
  • Experience configuring roles, permissions, and workflows in financial/HR systems.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, and access governance.
  • Strong problem-solving with data integrity.

Your Mission

As an Application Administrator at Engine, you’ll own the core business systems that keep our Finance and Accounting, and teams running smoothly. Partnering closely with the Business Automation team, here’s what you’ll take charge of:

What You’ll Bring to Engine

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience administering ERP systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or similar financial platforms
  • Skills: Comfortable configuring roles, permissions, and workflows within restricted financial and HR systems; Payroll systems, Integration platform, Procurement application experience a plus
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with SOX controls, audit requirements, and access governance for financial systems
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve tickets efficiently while maintaining data integrity
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented and security-minded, with a passion for keeping business-critical systems running smoothly

Compensation Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.

Base Pay Range

$72,300 - $100,000 USD
