Wise.Repair LLC in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time Appliance Technician to perform in-home diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of major household appliances.

You'll travel to customer sites in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Conway, order parts, document work, advise on maintenance, and ensure safety compliance. The role requires good communication and reliability; previous appliance repair experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining major household appliances using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation, and follow safety protocols.
• Solid customer service and communication skills to explain issues, repair options, and maintenance tips clearly.
• Reliable time management and organizational skills to handle multiple service calls per day and coordinate with the office team.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel within Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Conway service areas.
• Previous appliance technician experience or related mechanical/electrical/HVAC field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift and maneuver appliances, work in various environments, and adhere to safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in appliance repair beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, Appliance Technician role based in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Appliance Technician will perform in-home and on-site diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of major household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and ranges. Daily responsibilities include traveling to customer locations, assessing appliance issues, ordering or sourcing parts as needed, completing repairs, testing equipment for proper operation, and documenting work performed. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations, while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to safety standards. The Appliance Technician will collaborate with the office team on scheduling, service updates, and customer follow-up.
