Job summary
Weinstein Properties is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to join our maintenance team at 3Sixty Flats, Grand Prairie, TX. This temporary position offers both full-time and part-time scheduling, with an assignment length up to 60 days and potential extension based on property needs.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances within the community, focusing on one location and minimizing travel.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential appliances.
- Experience with refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and ovens.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances across the community.
- Repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical issues to identify repairs.
- Complete maintenance work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
- Identify and replace faulty components; perform installations as needed.
- Work independently to complete repairs and provide friendly service in residents' apartments.
- Assist onsite maintenance with other property tasks as time allows.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the community running smoothly.
