Job summary

Absolute Best Appliance is seeking a motivated Appliance Repair Technician for a full-time role in Clarksville, TN. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of residential appliances, document work in our system, and communicate professionally with customers and team members.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm hours, a starting pay of $21.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience, and earning potential of $4,500–$10,000+ per month through commissions and incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers).
• Complete repairs efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Document diagnoses, repairs, parts usage, and notes in Housecall Pro.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and management.
• Maintain truck inventory and company equipment.
• Educate customers on care and recommended repairs.
• Promote maintenance plans and request reviews when appropriate.
