As an Appliance Repair Technician / Service Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient maintenance and repair of appliances and other equipment. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work. Exemplifying our values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is ideal if you are self-motivated, good at troubleshooting, and able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Sales experience and proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers are preferred.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in customers' homes
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payments from customers
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and proper maintenance of company vehicle and equipment
• Complete invoices, route sheets, and reports as required
• Perform other duties, including cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Minimum age of 18
• Proficiency with tablet-based technology (e.g., iPad)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance; physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied conditions
• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends or emergency after-hours calls

Physical Demands:

While performing duties, employees may need to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate. Occasionally, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds is required.
