Temco Logistics in Huntsville, AL is seeking a dependable Driver and Appliance Installer to operate a 26 ft box truck, delivering and installing appliances for residential and commercial customers. This full-time role combines driving, installation tasks, and customer service with a safety-first approach.

The ideal candidate is at least 21, has a CDL or Chauffers' license, can lift 100+ lbs, and can follow safety protocols. Temco offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.
