Position: Appliance Installer in St. Louis, MO

You will be responsible for installing household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. Maintain a clean, organized job site and a well-stocked truck. Collaborate with customer experience coordinators and dispatchers to ensure the success of each service call.

Job Duties

1. Deliver and install appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.
2. Cut countertops and cabinets (excluding granite).
3. Test and observe the operation of installed appliances, making initial adjustments as needed.
4. Connect water and gas lines, double-checking for leaks after installation or removal.
5. Dismantle and reassemble appliances and equipment.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in appliance installation or related field.
• Strong communication skills to interact clearly and confidently with customers.
• Ability to adapt communication style to enhance customer experience.
• Experience in creating detailed job notes for customer accounts.
• Willingness to share thoughts and experiences with coworkers to foster learning and improvement.
• Openness to trying new ideas and suggesting process improvements.
• Effective communication with dispatchers regarding job status for scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at both customer sites and in your vehicle.
