Job summary

JBC LIMITED, LLC. is seeking a Delivery Helper in Portland, OR. You will assist the Delivery Driver with all aspects of delivering products to customers, including loading/unloading, basic appliance hookup, and daily truck stock.

You will coordinate with office staff and follow safety and delivery procedures to ensure timely, professional service. Ideal candidates are able to read maps, use basic tools, and work well in a team with flexible hours including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use a Thomas Guide and other maps.
• Ability to use basic tools.
• Ability to work positively in a team environment.
• 40-hour week with flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deliver Driver with all aspects of delivering products to customers.
• Load and unload truck with product without damage.
• Assist Driver with pre-calling customers each morning.
• Audit and stock the truck daily; sweep, clean, and organize.
• Deliver and perform basic hook-up of appliances; minor assembly as needed.
• Follow delivery policies for handling, installing, and removing products.
• Navigate locations using maps and guides.
• Coordinate with Delivery Office Staff regarding issues and time changes.
• Assist with safe lifting and moving of heavy items with colleagues.
