Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a dependable Route Driver to join our growing, family-owned maintenance-supply network with 30 branches nationwide. You will operate a box truck to deliver products to apartment complexes and customers, ensuring accurate delivery and strong customer service.

Requirements include being 21 or older, a valid driver's license, lifting up to 100 pounds, and at least 1 year of box truck experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities, apartment complexes and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle including: all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, evaluating general road worthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
• Deliver appliances to maintenance managers as well as customers.
• Perform in-house deliveries when necessary.
