Job summary

Chadwell Supply is a family-owned maintenance supplier with 29 branches nationwide and is seeking a motivated Route Driver for a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00am finish). You will transport products, load and unload, and ensure on-time delivery with care for customers and property.

Must be 21+, able to lift 100+ lbs, have a valid license and 1+ year box truck experience. We offer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to lift over 100 pounds.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes traffic laws and road signs when operating a motor vehicle.
• Delivers appliances to maintenance managers and customers.
• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle to meet DOT requirements.
• Provides prompt and accurate product delivery and communicates with company and customer personnel.
• Performs in-house deliveries when necessary.

Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 29 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 100pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down Ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.

How you will make an Impact

• Operatesa box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities, apartment complexesand route drivers.
• Observes, obeys and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle including: all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, evaluating general road worthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
• Deliver appliances to maintenance managers as well as customers.
• Perform in-house deliveries when necessary.
