Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an Appliance Install Driver in Pittsburgh. You will deliver and install laundry equipment at client sites, engage with customers daily, and ensure correct operation of equipment in a dynamic service area.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to travel overnight. Training is provided, and pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• DOT Certification is a plus.
• 1 year of job-related experience in delivery/installation (preferred).
• Mechanical & Maintenance knowledge.
• Experience driving box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install laundry equipment to client locations.
• Deliver and install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements).
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers and dryers.
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks).
• Instruct customers on operating equipment safely.

Overview

Appliance Install Driver

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

As a CSC Appliance Install Driver your days will be active, delivering and installing laundry equipment to a variety of places in your assigned service area. You’ll have a constant change of scenery, engage with clients and consumers daily, and learn new technology in an environment that supports your success in both your career and life. Note: This role does require overnight travel (especially in the summer for colleges), company provides room and food. CSC will provide tech with minimum notice of 2 weeks

Position Duties

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to client locations
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements)
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks)
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.

Position Requirements

• Mechanical & Maintenance Experience/Knowledge
• Experience driving box trucks
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)
• Knowledge with computers and smart phone technology
• Troubleshooting
• Route Driving Experience a plus!
