Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an Appliance Install Driver in the Pittsburgh area to deliver and install laundry equipment and ancillary technology for clients. Expect variable sites within the service area, with occasional overnight travel, and full participation in training and safety programs.

The role involves active physical work, operating a box truck, and providing customer guidance on equipment use. A valid license, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a customer-focused approach are

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• DOT Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install laundry equipment to client locations.
• Deliver and install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements).
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers.
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks).
• Instruct customers on operating equipment safely and effectively.

Overview

Appliance Install Driver Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

As a CSC Appliance Install Driver your days will be active, delivering and installing laundry equipment to a variety of places in your assigned service area. You’ll have a constant change of scenery, engage with clients and consumers daily, and learn new technology in an environment that supports your success in both your career and life. Note: This role does requireovernight travel (especially in the summer for colleges), company provides room and food. CSC will provide tech with minimum notice of 2 weeks

Position Duties

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to client locations
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements)
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks)
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.

What we’re looking for

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• DOT Certification is a plus!
• 1 year of job-related experience in the areas of delivery and installation (preferred) training is provided
• Mechanical & Maintenance Experience/Knowledge
• Experience driving box trucks
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)
• Knowledge with computers and smart phone technology
• Troubleshooting
• Route Driving Experience a plus!
