Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks in the United States is seeking an Appliance Install Driver to deliver and install laundry equipment at homes and client locations within your service area. Your days are active and you’ll engage with clients while learning new technology.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and basic mechanical knowledge. Pre-employment screening and 21+ age needed; DOT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Basic Plumbing and Electrical knowledge.
• DOT Certification is a plus.
• 1 year of job-related experience in delivery and installation (training provided).
• Mechanical & Maintenance experience/knowledge.
• Experience driving box trucks.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs in various conditions.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, squat, and bend for periods.
• Knowledge of computers and smartphone technology.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Route driving experience is a plus.
• Customer Service aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to customer's homes and client locations.
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements).
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers and/or air machines.
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks).
• Instruct customers on how to operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Stay physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart.

Overview

Appliance Install Driver Monday - Friday

As a CSC Appliance Install Driver your days will be active, delivering and installing laundry equipment to a variety of places in your assigned service area. You’ll have a constant change of scenery, engage with clients and consumers daily, and learn new technology in an environment that supports your success in both your career and life.

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to customer's homes and client locations
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements)
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers and/or air machines
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks)
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.

What we’re looking for

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, squat, and bend for periods of time
• Knowledge with computers and smart phone technology
• Troubleshooting
• Route Driving Experience a plus!
