Ralph's Joy of Living in Tiffin, OH, is hiring an Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician to join a family-run team. You will deliver and install home appliances, ensuring proper connections and testing before customer handoff.

No appliance experience? We'll teach you the trade from the ground up, with paid training and opportunities for growth. Must be dependable, with a valid US driver’s license and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install appliances in customers' homes - refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and more.
• Safely load, transport, and maneuver appliances using dollies and proper technique.
• Connect and test each appliance to ensure proper operation before leaving.
• Represent Ralph's Joy of Living in customers' homes by being punctual, courteous, and leaving spaces clean.
• Learn the appliance trade through paid, continuous training.
• Take on more responsibility over time with growth in pay and role.

What You'll Do

• Deliver and install appliances in customers' homes - refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and more.
• Safely load, transport, and maneuver appliances using dollies and proper technique.
• Connect and test each appliance to make sure everything works perfectly before you leave.
• Represent Ralph's in customers' homes - showing up on time, being courteous, and leaving every space clean.

What We're Looking For

• A career-minded self-starter who wants to build something, not just fill a slot.
• Someone who genuinely enjoys people and takes pride in delivering great customer service.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude and a strong desire to learn. Prior experience is a plus, but attitude matters most - if you've fixed cars or worked as a handyman, you'll do well here.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs daily and maneuver up to 250 lbs occasionally.
• A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable using basic computer and mobile technology.
