Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an Appliance Delivery Helper (Deliver Experience Cadet) to support delivery, installation, repair and haul-away of appliances and consumer electronics in customers’ homes. You will assist with order fulfillment, provide product placement advice, and help with inventory and vehicle maintenance.

Applicants should have at least 6 months in customer service or large product delivery, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable lifting heavy loads and coordinating with a crew.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery experience
• Current, valid driver’s license
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards
• Be at least 21 years old
• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of being hired

Responsibilities

• Attend appointments individually or lead a two-person crew up to 30% of the time, performing basic installation and repair of home theater equipment and appliances
• Determine best way to bring major appliances into homes and final locations, including measuring and protecting areas
• Remove and re-install doors and panels as necessary
• Provide advice on product placement, services and other related content to ensure a seamless client experience
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with team members
• Process paperwork and payment, provide feedback to store teams, and complete in-store repairs
