Job summary
HD Supply is seeking a Delivery and Installation Associate to deliver and install kitchen and laundry appliances using a company‑provided vehicle. You will maintain records of deliveries and address order or delivery issues with professional customer service.
The position may require operating a company or rental vehicle and occasional overnight travel, with continuous MVR monitoring and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in this area.
- Specialized skills training or certification may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service and addresses any concerns during delivery and installation.
- Loads, transports, and delivers kitchen and laundry appliances safely to customer homes or businesses.
- Installs appliances, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, building codes, and safety standards.
- Performs basic connections such as water, electrical, and venting during installation.
- Removes old appliances and disposes of packaging materials as needed.
- Troubleshoots basic installation issues and escalates when necessary.
- Follows the planned route for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintains delivery vehicle and follows safety protocols.
- Provides exceptional customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries.
