Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to support Appian Government Cloud AGC or ADC environments for Coast Guard applications.

The role is fully remote for US residents and emphasizes testing for functional accuracy, security, and compliance with federal standards. Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing regression and integration tests, validating Appian objects, and participating in UAT/FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Hands on experience testing Appian applications including workflows, integrations and interface components.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases and scripts based on Appian requirements and security constraints.
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, accessibility and end-to-end testing for Appian apps in AGC or ADC environments.
• Validate Appian objects including interfaces, records, expression rules, process models and data types.
• Test Appian integrations, APIs, secure authentication flows (SAML, CAC, PKI) and connections to USCG systems.
• Verify compliance with USCG cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, FedRAMP, and DoD IL4/IL5 guidelines.
• Identify defects, document issues clearly, and track resolutions through change management processes.
• Participate in UAT and FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Support Agile development activities and monitor regression impacts to improve testing coverage.
• Ensure all testing results and documentation meet USCG QA, security and CM standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develop detailed test plans test cases and test scripts based on Appian requirements user stories functional specifications and security constraintsConduct functional regression system integration accessibility and end to end testing for Appian applications deployed in AGC or ADC environmentsValidate Appian objects including interfaces records expression rules process models data types document generation and record securityTest Appian integrations APIs secure authentication flows SAML CAC PKI and connections to USCG enterprise systemsVerify compliance with USCG cybersecurity policies NIST standards FedRAMP requirements and DoD IL4IL5 security guidelinesEvaluate logging auditing escalation paths and exception handling workflows for completeness and accuracyIdentify defects document issues clearly and track resolutions through established change management processesParticipate in User Acceptance Testing UAT and work directly with Coast Guard stakeholders to validate requirements and mission workflowsParticipate in Final Acceptance Testing FAT and work directly with Coast Guard stakeholders to validate requirements and mission workflowsSupport Agile development activities including daily standups sprint planning backlog refinement and retrospectivesMonitor regression impacts and recommend improvements to testing coverage within controlled cloud environmentsEnsure all testing results and documentation meet USCG quality assurance security and configuration management standards

Required Qualifications

US CitizenshipA minimum of a Department of Defense DoD Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain oneMinimum 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assuranceHands on experience testing Appian applications including workflows integrations and interface componentsExperience supporting applications in secure federal cloud environments AGC ADC FedRAMP DoD authorized cloud environmentsFamiliarity with AgileScrum development methodologies and tools such as Jira ServiceNow or Azure DevOpsStrong analytical troubleshooting communication and documentation skillsAbility to work in structured compliance driven environments with strict security and testing protocolsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related discipline
