Job summary

Peak Partners SA is seeking a senior Appian Developer SME for a remote role in the United States. The candidate should have 5 to 10 years of Appian development experience on large-scale enterprise projects, preferably in IT healthcare or healthcare insurance.

Remote work is allowed, with priority given to US citizens due to a government contract; location considerations include MD, DC, VA, DE, PA, FL, NC, SC, OH, GA, TN & NY.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Appian applications from requirements through production.
• Experience with Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, expression rules, and CDTs.
• Experience with Appian integrations, including REST/SOAP web services and connected systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle, or similar) and data modeling.
• Ability to lead technical design sessions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Peak Partners has a regional healthcare payer client seeking to hire an Appian Developer SME. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in Appian development, with demonstrated senior-level experience on large-scale enterprise projects with experience in the IT healthcare or healthcare insurance sector.

The position can be remote, but the candidate must be a US citizen due to the terms of a specific government contract with priority given to candidates residing in MD, DC, VA, DE, PA, FL, NC, SC, OH, GA, TN & NY.

• Design, develop, and deploy Appian applications.
• Build Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, and CDTs.
• Integrate Appian applications with REST/SOAP web services.
• Work with relational databases and data modeling.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
• Lead technical design sessions and mentor junior develops.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Senior-level experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Appian applications from requirements through production.
• Expertise in Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, expression rules, and data types (CDTs).
• Experience with Appian integrations, including REST/SOAP web services, connected systems, and plug-ins.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle, or similar) and data modeling.
• Experience with application performance tuning, security configuration, and Appian best practices.
• Ability to lead technical design sessions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Appian Cloud and on-premises environments, as well as deployment and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Appian Certified Lead Developer.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience, including Appian RPA or similar platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
• Experience in healthcare IT or healthcare insurance, including familiarity with HIPAA compliance and claims, eligibility, or member management workflows
