Job summary

Infosys is hiring for a Technology Consultant 2 within its Financial Services unit in the United States. The role focuses on Appian Cloud development, RPA for BPM workflows, and design optimization of Appian applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across banking, wealth management, and insurance domains. You will contribute to requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, and production support, while leveraging low-code platforms to accelerate delivery and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
• Experience in Appian Cloud development and RPA for BPM workflows.
• Experience in design and optimizing Appian applications, process models, and interfaces.
• Leverage low-code capabilities for rapid delivery and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Document requirements elicitation and guide design decisions for software solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.

• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Appian Cloud development
• Experience with Appian Platform Engineering, RPA & Automation Enablement
• Experience in design and optimizing Appian applications, process models, and interfaces
• Leverage low-code capabilities for rapid delivery and scalability
• . Experience in Appian Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, Low-Code / No-Code Platform Design, Microservices, SQL, Workflow Orchestration
• Experience in implementing automation using Appian RPA for business processes
• Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Integrate RPA with BPM workflows for end-to-end automation

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with BPM / Workflow Automation / Process Engineering

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
