Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Architect to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and clients. You will mentor teams, design scalable Appian solutions, and drive best practices across projects.

Applicants should have 6+ years in Appian, strong Agile delivery, and the ability to lead complex implementations across Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid environments; DC Metro area preferred with ability to obtain federal clearance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Appian experience and related IT background.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Systems Engineering or related field.
• Active Appian Lead Certification and strong Agile delivery experience.
• Strong database design, web services, and security testing skills.
• Experience deploying Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture design, integration, scalability, and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Lead complex Appian implementations and related technologies.
• Ensure scalable, high-performance solutions and document best practices.
• Contribute to internal tools, knowledge bases, and process improvements.
• Mentor delivery teams and provide resource enablement.
