Job summary

Perficient is hiring an Appian Architect to join our team in delivering end-to-end Appian solutions for clients. You will lead design discussions, mentor Agile teams, and ensure best-practice platform design while applying the latest features including AI capabilities and RPA.

You will assist discovery, ROM estimation, and delivery models to secure successful project outcomes. The role requires 5+ years with the Appian platform, senior certifications, and experience guiding technical planning,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
• 5+ years of experience with all aspects of the Appian technology platform.
• Appian Lead Level Certified or equivalent; architect level certification preferred.
• Experience leading technical planning, estimation, high level design and team definition.
• Background in UX/UI is required; client facing or consulting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver innovative solutions and solve complex problems.
• Keeps up with Intelligent Automation trends (BPM, AI, RPA, Low Code, Case Management).
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or delivery teams; able to review designs and code.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development to ensure outputs meet best practices and scale.
• Lead complex design discussions and guide Agile teams through Scrum cadence.
• Mentor teams; communicate platform value and remain current on Appian capabilities.
• Engage with customers on requirements, provide technical leadership and estimates.
• Participate in planning, requirements gathering, testing and deployment activities.
• Support data migration and integration in microservices environments.
