The San Diego, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Appellate Practice.
The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) to seven (7) years of appellate/litigation experience. Must have a working knowledge of state and federal civil and appellate procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills. Admission to the California Bar is required.
The attorneys who comprise Lewis Brisbois’ national Appellate Practice handle matters in federal and state appellate courts and trial courts coast-to-coast, including in the Supreme Court of the United States. The successful candidate will have experience evaluating trial records, writing effective briefs, analyzing and framing factual and legal issues considering the appellate standard of review, conducting legal research, and presenting oral argument.
