ROMTech specializes in at-home rehabilitation technology and patient support. The Appeals Specialist ensures timely, accurate resolution of denied insurance claims to optimize reimbursement and patient access to ROMTech devices.

Working within Revenue Cycle Management, you will review denials, prepare appeals, coordinate with billing and clinical teams, and maintain compliant records to support financial performance and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or claims processing.
• Ability to interpret payer policies and insurance guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review denied claims to determine appeal strategies.
• Prepare, submit, and track appeals per payer timelines.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinical teams for supporting docs.
• Interpret EOBs and payer policies to guide appeal decisions.
• Monitor appeal status and follow up on unresolved claims.
• Maintain detailed records of appeals activity in systems.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and routine organizational policies.
