Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer in Las Vegas, NV. You will interpret design vision and develop patterns and tech packs using Gerber systems, while managing fit development and coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet calendar timelines.

The role requires patternmaking expertise for both male and female apparel, leadership in fit sessions, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Gerber software and Office tools is preferred.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer. Responsibilities include interpreting and executing design vision; developing, managing and creating patterns and tech packages for required product types utilizing Gerber software systems (YuniquePLM, AccuMark); managing and approving fit development; conducting fittings; problem solving issues related to fit and quality; managing workflow to meet calendar timelines; and working independently and coopearatively with cross-functional teams, along with vendors and factories.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or Certification in Patternmaking/Apparel Manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of patternmaking, specific to male and female apparel, with strong attention to detail
• Proficiencyin the development of tech packages
• Ability to lead fit sessions using live model/body form to assess fit, garment construction, proportion and overall styling of garments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• Proven experience with Gerber software (YuniquePLM, AccuMark)
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
