Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must meet the minimum physical demands of the position.
• Knowledge of basic math: counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Second language: speaking, reading and/or writing.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding products within the department and store to help customers feel welcome and valued.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products to respond to questions and make suggestions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and observe shift hours.
• Adhere to health and safety codes and store policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and maintain a clean, organized department.
• Demonstrate creative merchandising and keep displays stocked and attractive.
• Notify management of unsafe conditions or incidents and assist with safety programs.
