Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with informed suggestions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions to support sales.
• Observe scheduled shift operating hours and comply with health and safety codes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the department and model excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate creative merchandising and ensure displays are stocked.
• Be aware of product arrival dates and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Assist with selling programs, complete paperwork, and follow controls and safety procedures.
