Job summary

Laylas Dance is seeking an Apparel Product Development lead to coordinate sample development and the launch of new and rebranded products, growing product lines. You will report to the Director, Product Development Team and work from our Wallace, NC location.

You will manage the entire product lifecycle across seasons, collaborate with designers, and ensure construction, color, and branding standards are met. This role interacts with overseas vendors and internal teams to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product development experience in knit apparel
• Spec and tech editing experience
• Strong knowledge of structural construction in knit apparel
• Color approval experience

Responsibilities

• Own product lifecycle from inception to production and post-launch
• Collaborate with designers to meet design and commercialization objectives
• Create and maintain tracking system for cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with overseas vendors and manage production schedules
• Review techpacks for production feasibility and sample-to-techpack alignment
• Manage development timelines and supplier communication to meet milestones
