Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys seeks a retail associate to assist with hanging apparel, transporting items to the floor, and maintaining store security and upkeep.

You will tag and size clothing, perform quality checks on donations, and ensure rapid processing while delivering world-class donor and customer service. With a team that values cleanliness, safety, and helpful interactions, you will help ensure 24-hour processing and an organized backroom.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, team members, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Tag and size apparel and hang clothing onto racks by category.
• Assist with quality control of donated items (tears, stains, odors, soiled items).
• Maintain a neat, organized processing area and meet productivity targets (e.g., 60+ pieces per hour).
• Provide world-class donor and customer service and follow safety procedures.
