Job summary

Coldwater Creek in Pembroke, MA is seeking an Apparel Textile & Print Associate Designer to assist the Senior Print Manager from concept to production. The role focuses on creating prints, patterns and graphics for multiple categories, with strong color and textile design skills.

You will support production, manage strike-offs, organize CAD boards and interface with overseas vendors to ensure accurate artwork. A portfolio and proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of apparel textile and print design experience (internships included).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print, pattern, or graphic design work.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; strong color skills.
• Understanding of Windows/Microsoft Office and PLM system.
• Willingness to use AI as a print-creating tool is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Design original apparel prints, patterns, and graphics for seasonal collections using Adobe Suite.
• Support development of artwork from concept through production, including colorways, repeats, and scale.
• Create technical files for production meeting mill/vendor requirements.
• Manage print production strike-offs and organize CAD print boards.
• Evaluate execution and color with manager; communicate color comments to overseas vendors.
• Prepare, organize and run weekly strike-off meetings with design and merchandising.
• Data entry into PLM to track comments, production and input artwork.
• Maintain vendor relationships, email communication and project documentation.
• Prepare print presentation materials and boards; track Epson printer supplies.
