Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Bismarck, ND is seeking a full-time merchandiser/stock associate to unload, restock, and display products while assisting customers and teammates. This role supports shop moves, display setup, and floor readiness across departments.

Typical hours are 7a.m.–4p.m. or 8a.m.–5p.m., with variations for peak seasons. Benefits include ESOP, 401(k) with Roth options, associate discounts, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the floor or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
• Follow Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas.
• Be organized, multitask, have problem-solving skills, and manage all aspects of a merchandiser role.
• Work independently and with the team; exercise judgment with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to take on other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.

Schedule:

• This position is typically scheduled Monday-Friday 7a.m.-4p.m. or 8a.m.-5p.m.. However, this position may include varied nights, hours and weekends, especially during peak seasons.
• This full-time position averages: 40-42 hours/week
