Job summary

Centric Brands Inc. in New York is seeking an Assistant Graphic Artist to support the Graphic Art Manager in developing apparel graphics and prints, creating original artwork, revising designs, and preparing production-ready artwork and technical art sheets.

The ideal candidate integrates traditional illustration with digital tools, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 1–2 years of apparel graphic/print design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of color separating.

Responsibilities

• Support the Graphic Art Manager during style reviews and meetings by taking detailed notes.
• Create and revise original artwork, print repeats, and existing graphics.
• Assist in creating complete art charts for tech packs with technical callouts (PLM experience a plus).
• Update and maintain PLM data throughout development and production process.
• Maintain organized digital and physical artwork libraries.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for innovation using AI and emerging tools.
• Stay current on design trends and printing techniques.
