Job summary

Nike in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Technical Design Intern to support fit and construction from concept through production. You will work under a Sr. Tech Developer or Manager, help create and revise Tech Packs, and track prototyping to ensure on-time delivery.

This 10-week paid internship offers relocation assistance and in-person work at Nike PHK Campus. Applicants should be enrolled in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, or Textile Science with a portfolio.

Qualifications

• Registered in a program or college for Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field with a graduation date between December 2027 and Spring/Summer 2028.
• Candidates must be able to present a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Basic knowledge of the development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and revision of the Tech Pack for assigned styles; ensuring all development documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes.
• Assist in execution of fit and construction standards for a category or product group to ensure consistency.
• Track and facilitate prototyping for styles; identify and address key issues in construction/manufacturing to deliver proven products.
