Job summary

Nike in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Technical Design Intern to support fit and construction from concept through production. This 10-week, paid internship offers relocation assistance and is based at the Nike, Inc. PHK Campus in Beaverton, OR.

Qualifications

10-week paid internship with relocation assistance.
Portfolio required with relevant work.
Knowledge of development process from concept to production (pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, machinery).
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently with guidance.
Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Apparel CAD software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO3D) highly desired.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and revision of Tech Packs and development documentation.
Support fit and construction standards for assigned category or product group.
Track prototyping and address construction/manufacturing challenges to deliver tested product.
Collaborate to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to critical dates.
