Job summary

Nike in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Technical Design Intern to support fit and construction from concept through production. This 10-week, paid internship offers relocation assistance and is based at the Nike, Inc. PHK Campus in Beaverton, OR.

Qualifications

• 10-week paid internship with relocation assistance.
• Portfolio required with relevant work.
• Knowledge of development process from concept to production (pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, machinery).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently with guidance.
• Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Apparel CAD software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO3D) highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and revision of Tech Packs and development documentation.
• Support fit and construction standards for assigned category or product group.
• Track prototyping and address construction/manufacturing challenges to deliver tested product.
• Collaborate to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to critical dates.
