Job summary

American Society of Interior Designers is seeking an Apparel Designer to shape seasonal collections from concept through production. This onsite role focuses on thoughtful design and a distinctive brand aesthetic, collaborating across teams.

You will create mood boards, color stories, silhouettes, CADs, and design files while selecting fabrics and trims aligned with direction. Strong production knowledge and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of apparel design experience; lifestyle apparel is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrication, color, and product development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience creating CADs and tech packs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and seasonal deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, organized, and highly detail‑oriented approach.
• Basic print, repeat‑pattern, or artwork‑development skills are a plus.
