Job summary

Design Collective by Cintas is seeking an Apparel Design Assistant to support the development of designs and collections for multiple markets. Under the direction of the Design Manager/Director, you will assist in executing product designs, sketches, illustrations, and technical requests for Ready To Wear, Customer Exclusive, and Custom projects.

You will work with peers to ensure design intent is translated into production-ready artwork and specifications, while leveraging skills in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Apparel Design preferred.
• Knowledge of garment construction and materials used in apparel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and Yunique PLM.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design preferred
• Knowledge of garment construction and materials used in apparel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), intranet/internet, Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and Yunique PLM

Preferred

• Technical and illustrated sketching ability
• Previous apparel design experience

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $26.13 - $33.00/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
