Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math: counting, addition, and subtraction.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Know products in the department and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and maintain adherence to store hours and safety codes.
• Provide excellent customer service with friendliness and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate merchandising and keep displays stocked and conditioned.
• Be aware of product arrival dates and assist with sales programs.
• Complete paperwork per company policy and follow loss prevention rules.
