Job summary

MercyOne Sleep Medicine in Des Moines is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Sleep Medicine team in Central Iowa. The role focuses on outpatient sleep medicine care, including new patient consultations and follow‑up visits, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

MercyOne Sleep Medicine Department comprises four Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active NP/PA license and appropriate certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient sleep medicine care including new patient consultations.
• Perform follow-up visits and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with Sleep Medicine team to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active NP or PA license and appropriate certification

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Previous experience in Pulmonology
• Previous experience in Neurology and/or Cardiology

Practice Overview

The MercyOne Sleep Medicine Department is comprised of four Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. This position will focus on outpatient sleep medicine care, including new patient consultations and follow‑up visits, working Monday through Friday.
