MercyOne Iowa Heart Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a cardiovascular care team in Des Moines, IA. The role includes a mix of solo and shared visits with routine follow-ups and cardiac risk assessments.

Board-certified NP/PA, with priority for experienced applicants in cardiology, is required. MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center offers comprehensive benefits and a strong mission.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA required.
• Experience of NP/PA in cardiology preferred.
• Cardiology experience is a plus.

MercyOne Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the US. With 52 Physicians, services are offered in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Iowa Heart Center has an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program (6 Fellows), advanced imaging including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, and a destination LVAD program. Iowa Heart Center has 8 primary office locations and attends 28 outreach facilities spanning much of the state of Iowa.
