The Acclaim Physician Group is currently seeking a full time (Night) Acute Care Provider to join our group and care for patients in our 32 bed Clinical Decision Unit. We are looking for a provider who is not afraid of a challenge and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting. The role would entail patient care responsibilities in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) located at the main JPS Health Network campus just south of downtown Fort Worth.
Join our collegial and team focused group of physicians and APP’s in our 32 bed CDU.
1. Collaborates with the physician in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize quality patient care.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with an active Texas License
Must have current Texas APRN license with ACNP certification
OR
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program with an active Texas License
Valid, unrestricted DEA
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Minimum of 2 years working independently as an advanced practice provider in an acute care setting
Must be proficient in documentation and billing in an electronic medical record system
Must be able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Must be able to collaborate with other members of the healthcare team
Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills to work effectively with other health care professionals
Must be self‑directed and take initiative to develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach programs pertaining to the medical specialty area
Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
Must be data driven and quality metric focused
Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
