Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to lead preoperative evaluations, collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses to optimize patient readiness for surgery.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, order and interpret tests, develop individualized care plans, and educate patients and families about anesthesia and procedures, within a supportive outpatient team.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Montana.
• Experience in preoperative evaluations preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations.
• Evaluate cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and overall status.
• Order and interpret labs, EKGs, and imaging as appropriate.
• Develop individualized preoperative care plans and risk stratification.
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia and procedures.

Seeking Preoperative Evaluation Clinic Nurse Practitioner
