Job summary

IHA in Ann Arbor is seeking a passionate Contingent Post Partum Specialist, a Women’s Health focused Nurse Practitioner, to provide obstetric and gynecologic care across reproductive health.

This contingent role offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts, a paid malpractice policy by IHA, and a focus on work-life balance, patient-centered care, and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Women’s Health focused Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 2 years of Women’s Health experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Committed to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care across all stages of reproductive health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
• Deliver postpartum and general women’s health care with a patient-centered approach.

Opportunity Details

• Region: Ann Arbor Region (Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital)
• Hourly Rate: $57.50
• The Post-Partum Specialist role work requirements are as follows:
  • 3-6 shifts per month (including one weekend comprised of Fri/Sat/Sun)
  • Additional rounding coverage as determined by scheduling needs
  • 1 winter and 1 summer holiday
• Shift Times: 7am-3pm weekdays and 7am-12pm weekends; depending on patient census
• Malpractice insurance premiums, medical staff, and departmental dues are paid by IHA
• Contingent position is not eligible to receive IHA benefits
