Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Graduate from AMA-approved Physician Assistant program required.
• PA Certification required.
• MSN required for Nurse Practitioner role.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
• Current Massachusetts RN registration required.
• Licensure for NP/PA in Massachusetts required.
• First Assist certification with the NP required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist in the operating room under Massachusetts governance.

Responsibilities

• Position reports to the Practice Administrator, Surgical Specialties with a dotted line to the plastic surgeons for which the position supports, perform duties in being responsible for evaluation, care and management of patients in an outpatient clinic setting and/or inpatient setting, including assisting in an OR setting under the rules and regulations of the Massachusetts governance.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required.
• Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
• Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
• First Assist certification with the NP is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Over 3 months experience.
• NP - Massachusetts Nursing License authorization to practice in an expanded role.
• CME requirements as needed.
• PA Physician Assistant License authorization to practice.
• CME requirements as needed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Pay Range

USD $65.29 - USD $84.80 /Hr.
