Opportunity

APP - Ortho Job Details: Locum tenens need for a Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Full-time availability or minimum of 14 days per month required.

Available shift times include 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on weekdays and weekends.

Coverage areas include the operating room, ICU, hospital rounding, overnight call, and post-operative visits.

Level 1 Trauma facility with ortho trauma surgery call coverage and hospital coverage.

Daily patient volume of approximately 20 patients.

Responsibilities include ED support, consults, and post-operative care.

No clinic work involved; rounding and working in the OR in black scrubs. RN support provided on site.

• ACLS or ATLS certification required (at least one).
• South Carolina medical license required; SC DEA and SC Controlled Substance license must be in place prior to start.
• Experience with reductions, wash outs, and trauma call preferred; comfort with first call is a plus.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts required.
