New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) in Elmhurst, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our oncology/hematology team. The role involves managing patient health problems, coordinating care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited NP or PA program with current licensure. Oncology/Hematology experience is preferred; EMR proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current APRN Licensure or Physician Assistant license.
• At least 1 year of Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in line with regulations and nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative care.
• Deliver patient-centered care to improve outcomes and patient experience.
