Job summary

IMS Care Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks an APP/PA in Neurology for a full-time, on-site role. You will manage care for adolescent to geriatric patients, conduct assessments, develop plans, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited NP/PA program, Arizona licensure, and at least one year in Neurology. Travel to clinics as needed is required.

Qualifications

• One year of Neurology experience required.

Essential Functions

• Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, perform physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education, family planning, and well women exams
• Orders and interprets patient care tests, treatments and exams
• Handles prescription needs, provides advice regarding chronic pain problems, general health education and coordination of care
• Includes travel to our clinics in various locations, as needed

Education and Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program and passage of board-approved certifying exam
• Must possess a license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona
