Sanford Health in Oregon seeks a Physician Assistant to join a clinic with 2 MDs and one APP. There is no on-call requirement; clinic hours include mornings and evenings, with Saturday morning hours as available.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the ARC-PA or equivalent accrediting program accepted by the state licensing board.
  • Clinical experience in specialty area is preferred but not required.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in each state of practice.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
  • State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists

Work Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Union Position: No Department Details Join a group that includes 2 MD's and one APP. There is no call required with this position. There are two RNs who assist with triage calls. The clinic also has Certified Medical Assistants.

Clinic hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 am - 7 pm. Wednesdays are 7:30 - 5:30 pm, Fridays 7:30 am - 3 pm with Saturdays open from 9 am - 12 pm. There is an after-hours triage line. EMR - Epic, lab and imaging are integrated with Sky Lakes.
