Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive medical care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The PA conducts history taking, examinations, and management of health concerns across the lifespan, coordinating care to promote optimal outcomes.

You will order and interpret tests, educate patients, prescribe therapies in compliance with regulations, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while ensuring accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Clinical experience in a specialty area is preferred but not required.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in each state of practice.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
  • State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
